TeeCast legal

Terms of Service

These terms govern TeeCast accounts and use of the tournament-management service. Event-specific rules and waivers remain the responsibility of the tournament organizer.

Effective date: July 14, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating a TeeCast account, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use TeeCast for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization. If you are not legally able to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must act for you.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information, protect your password and scoring links, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. TeeCast may require additional verification, revoke sessions, or limit access to protect users and tournaments.

3. Roles and organizer authority

Account permissions depend on the role assigned to you. Organizers are responsible for their tournament rules, eligibility decisions, registrations, participant notices, event waivers, communications, pricing, refund decisions, scoring administration, and compliance with applicable law. An organizer or purchaser who submits another person's information confirms they have appropriate authority to do so.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use TeeCast unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
  • Enter false scores, impersonate another user, bypass permissions, or interfere with tournament records.
  • Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
  • Upload malware, unlawful material, or content you do not have permission to use.
  • Use participant contact information for unrelated marketing without appropriate permission.

5. Tournament information and public results

Organizers and authorized users may publish event information, participant or team names, pairings, scores, standings, results, sponsor content, and related tournament materials. TeeCast provides tools for these activities but does not independently verify every entry or organizer decision. Tournament questions should be directed to the organizer.

6. Registration and payments

Prices and available payment methods are displayed during registration. The purchaser is responsible for reviewing the total before submitting. Payment, cancellation, and refund handling is further described in the Payment and Refund Policy. An event waiver or participant release is separate from these Terms and must be presented by the organizer when applicable.

7. Content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant TeeCast a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate the service and the tournament features you choose. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit logos, photographs, scorecards, sponsor materials, participant information, and other content.

8. Third-party services

TeeCast may depend on third-party services for payment processing, hosting, databases, storage, messaging, and other operations. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. TeeCast is not responsible for a third party's independent acts or for services outside TeeCast's reasonable control.

9. Service availability and changes

TeeCast may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance. We work to keep tournament operations reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Users should maintain appropriate event-day contingency plans and verify important scoring, payment, and participant decisions.

10. Suspension and termination

TeeCast may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address security risk, nonpayment, unlawful activity, material breach, abuse, or harm to the service or its users. You may stop using TeeCast at any time, but transaction, audit, or tournament records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by law.

11. Disclaimers and responsibility

TeeCast is a tournament-management platform and is not the operator of an organizer's golf event unless expressly stated. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes and contact

TeeCast may update these Terms. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. The version and effective date will be posted on this page. For account or platform questions, contact the organizer or administrator connected with your account and ask them to route the request to TeeCast. For event-specific rules, waivers, refunds, scoring, or participant issues, contact the tournament organizer.
